The innovative SOTEST M70 model is a hand held meter which has been designed to perform insulation resistance measurements using a test voltage up to 1,000 VDC and continuity test measurements of earth conductors using a 200 mA test current. These comply with VDE 0100 requirements and are utilized in civil and industrial electrical environments.

In accordance with IEC/EN60204-1 and IEC/EN60439-1 standards, the meter can also be used to test on electrical equipment and switchboards. Its LOCK feature enables the insulation measurement to be performed in a continuous mode on the device during tests. Duration measurements are permitted by the programmable timer from 2s to 60s.

The SOTEST M70 provides DC/AC voltage measurement up to 600V, as well as a continuity and resistance test with a buzzer as a common DMM. Easy readings are permitted in dark environments by way of an exceptionally large and backlit custom display.
